Overview
SICSA is a debt fund created to provide financing to MFIs in Central America prioritizing second and third tier MFIs. SICSA can operate in local currency in Guatemala Honduras Costa Rica and Dominican Republic. SICSA was sponsored by the Centro American Network Redcamif and receives strong support from its directors and shareholders through participation in credit committees and housing of its offices on their premises. SICSA s focus on tier two and tier three MFIs allows the company to cater to the financial needs of the most vulnerable segments of the population. Most of SICSA s clients are niche MFIs that have some of the deepest outreach in the sector attending very specific and targeted segments.
