Overview
We are a deferred payment cycle rickshaw social venture company that opened in April 2010. We offer a unique solution to cycle rickshaw drivers to become owners of their own vehicle by making just over a year of on time weekly repayments. SMV also provides vocational support to drivers such as license and number plate provision which legitimizes their professional standing. Drivers also get insurance which they typically do not have otherwise and the company solicits advertisers to use rickshaws and uses some of that capital to offset the cost of repayment for drivers whose vehicles are used.
