Aaron Mandell

Overview

Mr. Aaron H. Mandell is a Co Founder and Managing Partner of GreatPoint Ventures. Mr. Mandell is the Co Founder of Quidnet Energy Inc. and serves as its Chairman. Mr. Mandell is a co founder of AltaRock Energy Inc. in 2007 and also serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mandell was a Co Founder of Greatpoint Energy Inc. and served as its Senior Vice President. He was the Chief Executive Officer and President of Oasys Water Inc. He was a Co Founder and Chief Technology Officer Coatue Corporation. Mr. Mandell identified the original technology on which GPE was formed and assembled and managed engineering/R&D as its Chief Technology Officer until July 2008. He has experience in energy and alternative fuels and founded and sits on the Boards of Coskata and Ethos. He serves as a Director of Oasys Water Inc. He serves as Director of Altarock Energy Inc. He serves as a Member of Board of Advisors of College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at University of Vermont. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors of GreatPoint Energy Inc. He serves as a Director of AltaRock Energy Inc. Mr. Mandell has a technical background and conducted his graduate research on ground water remediation and modeling under a joint fellowship at the University of Vermont and Tel Aviv University in Israel. During his graduate years he was advised by two world renowned water scientists Dr. George Pinder and Dr. Gideon Dagan. He has held visiting scientist appointments at MIT and Tel Aviv University and holds an M.S Degree and Bachelors in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Vermont.
