Overview

SoScience creates partnerships between scientists and social entrepreneurs to tackle social and environmental issues. SoScience achieves this on the field through seminars and training programs that enable researchers to collaborate with grassroots social entrepreneurs to turn their game changing ideas into reality. At the institutional level SoScience shifts research organizations' focus from productivity to social impact and advocate for more impact centered approaches. SoScience's programs are implemented through a network of committed research performing organizations thus reshaping the research system from within. The goal is to nurture a research community focused on social impact and using science to answer citizen's issues.
