Overview

TARGET Football aims to make a difference to the lives of young people in Liverpool by using the project as a tool to address problems they face in their community. We aim to use the power and popularity of football to encourage young people to participate in safe structured and healthy activities that contribute to their educational development and improve their ability to connect with others from different backgrounds. By engaging young people in community based activities we aim to improve their social skills and increase their confidence and self esteem so they are less likely to drift into anti social or risk taking behaviours. Young people who are NEET can get involved with the project and use it as a springboard to progress themselves into jobs education and training.
