Overview
D MIRO began in 1997 when Mission Alliance concerned about the overall development of the most vulnerable they considered having a financial arm and decided to create the Microfinance Program D MIRO and end of year 2006 the Foundation for Microenterprise Development D MIRO Ecuador Mission Alliance. Displaying the positive results achieved in the quality of life of the families that supported D MIRO decides to transform into a bank and began operations on July 18 2011 opening the doors to the public in fourteen offices located in nine coastal cities and five provinces of Ecuador.Mission Alliance majority shareholder creates AS Microfinance Alliance (AMAS) a Norwegian company specializing in the management of microfinance institutions which manages Banco D MIRO SA. They are present in the most excluded and geographic areas with the greatest needs. They include a special emphasis on population groups that are not traditionally target market of traditional banks. They are an institution with a social vision. The Banco D MIRO is served by highly qualified staff.
