Overview

Clementine Chambon is co founder and chief technology officer of Oorja where she is responsible for plant design and construction to ensure Oorja plants are easy to operate efficient affordable and scalable. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioenergy from Agricultural Waste at Imperial College London where she develops cost effective technologies to harness the power of biomass as a feedstock for renewable energy fuels and chemicals production. Her passion lies in using locally available bio resources as a catalyst to bring about lasting socioeconomic and environmental change. Clementine holds a first class master s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Cambridge where she decided to create impact to reduce the effects of climate change and facilitate sustainable development. She is a recipient of an Imperial College Ph.D. Scholarship Jesus College Foundation Scholarship Salter s Institute Graduate Prize and a runner up Althea Prize presented to the most innovative female student entrepreneurs in science and technology at Imperial College London.
