Overview

Jessica Budnitz is a child advocacy consultant. She co founded the Child Advocacy Program (CAP) at Harvard Law School (HLS) where she served as a Lecturer on Law and Managing Director of the program for nearly 10 years. Before CAP Jessica received an Echoing Green Fellowship to establish Juvenile Justice Partners (JJP) a child focused legal clinic in Cambridge Massachusetts which helped lay the groundwork for the establishment of CAP. She is a recipient of HLS s Gary Bellow Public Service Award and the YWCA of Cambridge Award for Outstanding Women. For many years Jessica served as a Prelaw and Public Service Residential Tutor in Leverett House at Harvard College where she advised hundreds of Harvard undergraduates and alums. She holds degrees from Harvard Law School and Duke University.
