Prior to Library For All Tanyella lived and worked as a teacher in Uganda and trained at the Campaign for Female Education in the UK. As Executive Director of Artists for Peace and Justice Tanyella led a team to establish a school that is now serving over 2000 students on the edge of one of the poorest slums in Port au Prince Haiti.
